PCK Silat is proud to offer training in Knoxville Tennessee under Instructor Candidate and training group leader Christopher Koontz. Chris has been a personal student of mine since 2010 and is an outstanding student and instructor. Anyone who has the opportunity to train with him will be glad they did. He is a true representative of our art and lineage.

All PCK schools are considered semi-private schools. There are NO DROP-INS. We accept new students by appointment only. If you are interested in looking at a class, please send an email to chrisnkoontz@gmail.com
On the day of your appointment, you will be asked to sign a waiver prior to entering the training area even if you are only going to be watching. This is simply a liability waiver and does not mean that you have joined or been accepted for enrollment.
After the initial "viewing appointment" if the prospective student is still interested in joining, we would request that they complete an application form.
After a successful interview with Guru Derek, you will discuss fees (monthly fee, PCK Membership, uniforms, training equipment, etc) as well as student expectations, class structure, seminars, etc.
This introduces you to the art, the existing students and makes sure that you are a good fit for our school and that our school is the right fit for you. This process is to ensure that all new students understand the expectations of our art and its teachers and to help maintain the traditional atmosphere and provide a conducive learning environment
